FAQ

Questions, answered.

What does the 30-day demo include?
One registration, up to 10 compliances, and every portal connected, for 30 days. No card is needed to start. Nothing you enter is thrown away when the demo ends — the same workspace carries on if you subscribe.
What counts as a registration?
A registration is a number the company holds with a department — a GSTIN, a PAN or TAN, an EPFO or ESIC code, a factory licence. Plans are priced per registration per year, and every compliance attached to those registrations is included.
How is filing status determined?
Through the credentials vault. Regulens asks the portal-reading service for each registration and stores the answer exactly as received, as evidence. What the portal reports is shown beside the status your team posted; a portal reading never silently overwrites what a person recorded.
How are portal passwords stored?
Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM under a key held outside the database, masked on screen, and never written to the audit log or any export. They are sent only to the portal-reading service over an authenticated channel.
Can one login manage several companies?
Yes. Switch between companies or view them together. Each company lives in its own database schema, so one client's data cannot be read from another's session even by mistake.
What happens when a department extends a due date?
A library owner records the override once for that period. Every company tracking that compliance picks up the new date, and the original due date stays on the record so the change is visible afterwards.
